Posting this for LRP (Jay) He started this thread on the FjCruiserForums:
Maybe a bit early for this but I've been half arsed planning a fall color trail run either up thru the Gandy north to maybe Gilbert for an over night "somewhere" when the leaves turn. I'm pretty much just spit balling it right now but plan on doing something either way. Just wanted to put it out to see if we can get a few rigs together for it..

Any more thoughts on this? I probably can't go till mid October but I really want to go and give my FJ a true test. I'm kind of going a little nuts.

Dang it. Thanks for seeing that. I'm kind of bummed. Maybe I will have sliders by the time we actually go. Does anyone know if you need a pass of any sorts for up at Gilbert?

I do think Gilbert requires a pass. I believe just the start ORV tab for your license plate. (I think its about $25 for 3 years or so) I need to go get mine..

Yes. you need to buy a ORV tab. They sell them right at the gate before you enter the park.

Sounds fun to me! I need to remember to check the forum more often...dang. PS: Kumba, I finally got my wipers...they were on sale at RockAuto, and I had screwed up my blades at the car wash by stupidly leaving my wipers on while it was drying...the dryer grabbed my blades and bent them. Anyway, I bought a set like yours, and I love'em. WAY nicer than my old ones! Let's see what snow does to them!
