Sorry, I thought I had posted it here.. I did on the "OTHER" fj forum:
Here it is:
So, I have been using the Cargo area Screen for the FJ for about 2 months now.
Quick and Dirty: LOVE IT!!
I have been an FJ owner for over 2 years, and am actually on my 2nd FJ!
One of the first items I picked up for the FJ was a rear window prop. I would rather have fresh air vs. Air conditioning. And opening the back window was the best way to go!
The problem with that is, BUGS, dust, rain, etc.......
At a local meet and greet, Jack (the creator of the screen), was showing his prototype to our group, and I immediately loved it. He spent the next year fine tuning it. Then offered one up to me to test out, and I was more than happy to help out!
I will say, it takes a bit of time to install it. NOT Hours, but a good 20-30 minutes to do it RIGHT!
That's for the initial install. Cleaning the area the Velcro is put on, lining it up, cutting the pieces, etc.
Once in, the first couple times you take if off, and put it on, can be a bit more tedious than expected. Lining things up (Thank you Toyota for NOT making the door panel symmetrical). But, after that, its a matter of a minute to put it on.
It does a GREAT job of keeps PESTS (bugs) out, and pets IN! Cuts down on dust coming in (THIS DOES NOT PREVENT DUST)
It does lessen the amount of dust that comes in from dirt roads!
Did I mention how strong it is? The screen burst is rated to 430 PSI that's also UV resistant, and overall weighs less than a pound!
The Velcro really holds in the screen into place. In fact, most of the trip to and from the summit, every time we went to open the rear door, something was resting on the screen (and some of those things weighed a bit) and didn't mess up the screen at all!
It comes with a REALLY nice case for easy storage too!!
