Hey everyone....... Thinking of putting the OE roof dam and lights on my 2013 TTSE. Like the look and probability of reduced wind noise and (possibly) increased gas mileage as well.
My question: For the lights up top, do you recommend narrow beams (driving lights) or wide beams (fog lights)… essentially to see further down the road or see more on either side. For off-roading, I'm thinking the later would be more helpful, but don't know if wide beams from up above would be distracting. What are your thoughts/recommendations?
Thanks.

For roof lights, Narrow Beams.. Fog lights will just light up your hood!

Have you got the OE roof dam yet??? If not I might have a cheaper way to do it. My dad is welding me an air dam and I think I'm going to add some brackets for lights. It will decrease wind noise but I don't think you will gain any MPGs.

Hey here is what I have for an air dam. Before I painted it and cut the bolts: After I painted it and put acorn nuts on: I will have better pics after this weekend when I finally put up my build thread.

Lol, well he had this one made at work on the side (he works for xcel) when the guys were a little slow. I will talk to him and see if he would be willing to make another one and if so what he would want to cover materials. I should know in a day or so and post again.

So I talked to my dad and he said that because he made them at work, he doesn't want to "go into business". In addition he doesn't know when he will have a welder on site again. I can get you the dimensions if you want. As long as you have access to a welder it is really easy.
