Hi all...... I recently installed the OEM air dam with lights and also have the Rostra front bumper wing light kit. I want to be able to power the roof lights and the driving beams from the Rostra kit from my high beams: so if the panel switched are in the on position and I hit my brights these lights will come on as well.
I would pay to have someone good do the job, if I could get it done reasonably, or tackle it myself, if I could find some solid directions. My usual go-to guys—Automotve Concepts in Minneapolis—haven't responded back on this, so I don't think they're interested in the job.
Can anyone either recommend a good shop in the Twin Cities (or northern MN, where I live) who could do the job right......or point me towards a solid how-to?
Thanks.

Should be pretty easy to do. You will just need to tap your harness into the highbeam side of your head lights. I have 2 yellow and 2 white marker lights in my bumper that are tapped into the parking lights on my FJ. Just need to have a circuit tester to figure out what wire to tap.

There used to be a shop I used years ago called Transportation Electronics in Hopkins, but I just checked and they don't seem to have a website so maybe they don't exist anymore...

Thanks, Tstormin.
Though I know many people do it the way you suggest, what I've read on other sites has led me to believe the safest way to do this is to add-a-circuit at the fuse box and switch low voltage current to the relay, rather than add load to the 12v current coming from the headlights themselves. This makes some sense to me, though it will be a more complex project and require access to wiring diagrams (do the lights use + or - switching?, etc.)
Will continue to look for a shop that can do this for me. Too bad Automotive Concepts bailed on me as I have confidence in them. Any other shops in Minne you recommend?

I guess I should have gone into more detail. you are correct! I would tap the high beam lead, to a relay, and high vol directly to a power source. All lights I run, are on a relay.
